TIME TO SAY GOODBYE

As you may have noticed, my posts have become far and few between. Yes, the time has come to shut down the blog. I have enjoyed blogging, especially in the early days when I would post a picture of everything I bought with a receipt! For some reason, this new format will not allow me to post pictures or even do separate paragraphs. I appreciate every one of you who have commented and helped all of us save money. I didn't know the WD north of town or the beach would still take two coupons! After reading that comment, I will now continue to occasionally shop at WD with a good coupon and a sale! WD COUPON POLICY

Just a heads up! I went to the Winn Dixie on SR 207 and was told I could only use 1 coupon with a BOGO sale. I don't know if all the WD's are the same but that is the last time I will go there. I am hoping the beach stores policy is different and will allow 2 coupons on a bogo. Has anybody had the same experience? I was hoping they would start accepting competitor coupons but it looks like they are going the other direction!!!

We just got back from camping at Jetty Park in Cocoa Beach and enjoyed our time there. We already booked another trip in September and yet another next July! For those of you who camp you must check it out! The sites are small but we hand-picked the sites we wanted to be on the next time. OK...back to coupon news! There was a $1/2 peelie I saw about 6 weeks ago on Zatarains Rice. Check your binders to see if you have this peelie. It is not listed in the coupon match-ups. You will score some pretty cheap Zatarains Rice!

DEAL ON MID'S PASTA SAUCE

About a month ago Mid's Pasta Sauce was BOGO and there was a PDF printable coupon available. It had a long expiration date of 8/31/14. If you have any of these left, you will pay $1.30 for a bottle of pasta sauce. I bought two last time but have not tried it yet. Has anyone else ever tried this brand of pasta sauce? I usually make mine from scratch like I did this weekend using 4 large cans of crushed tomatoes. But if I could get a good deal on pasta sauce, I buy it and doctor it up!
